TNT's Line Up Includes:

Join Tracy Todd, Ph.D. as he regularly conducts seminars and podcasts on topics related to Best Practice Standards and Client Based Practice Building: practice building, answering questions from therapists on such issues as dealing with managed, best practice standards, and general rants and raves about reimbursements from insurance and HMOs.  XML in orange

The primary goal of these audio recordings and podcasts is to provide a venue for mental health professionals to access information on practice building strategies and implementing best practice standards in outpatient settings.  The behavioral health care field has limited resources for these critically important components of service delivery.

I encourage you to use "Ask a Question."   When emailing your question, I will try to combine questions and have specific shows dedicated to practice building and best practice standards inquiries.  Also, if you can create an MP3 audio file and would like to be on the show, email Tracy Todd, Ph.D. to get the details.

Podcasting Basics

WHAT IS PODCASTING?

Basically, podcasts are sound files very similar to MP3 files and those files used by Apple's iPods.  If you subscribe, you will be notified each time a new podcast is made available on our web site.  Your subscription will automatically download the new podcast so that you can listen to it through your computer or download it to your MP3 player/iPod. Podcasts are similar to listening to a radio show.  You do not need to have an MP3 player or iPod to listen to a podcast, virtually any computer will allow you to listen to the podcast.  An MP3 player or iPod simply allows you to take the podcast with you when you leave the computer.

HOW DO I GET STARTED?

To get started, you will need to get a "podcatcher."  There are many free programs.  Here is a good free program:

NEXT STEP?

You can now subscribe to our podcasts by pasting the following line of text into your "podcatcher."

NOW WHAT?

When Tracy posts a new podcast, your podcatcher will "catch it" and you can either listen to the podcast or download it to your MP3 player or iPod.

BEST PART?

You are now "Good to Go."  If you find a podcast particularly helpful, download it to your MP3 player or iPod and take it with you.
