  • 30 years of experience in direct Mental Health care

  • Has provided care in a wide variety of settings including Mental Health Centers, Private and Public hospital settings, Community Outreach programs, and Emergency Rooms
  • Specialties in treatment of severe and chronic mental illnesses, anxiety, depression, substance abuse, physical illness, grief, workplace issues and stress management

Approach to Therapy

An eclectic therapist using brief and solution focused techniques, as well as cognitive-behavioral and pyschodynamic approaches.  Collaborative, interactive syle.  Chuck often assigns tasks and readings, outside of the therapy setting, specifically designed for the issues that you are dealing with.  He is available for diagnostic and treatment planning consultations, and provides education about mental disorders for family members, as needed.  Mr. Pitte works with individuals over the age of 14, and also provides marital/couples counseling.
